Walk Journal
These are Ron’s posts from the road, written day by day as the walk happened, starting at the Nevada Capitol on July 2, 2022. They capture the heat, the miles, the people who came out to walk alongside, and the long stretches of the Loneliest Road in America.
The daily journal runs through Day 60 in Utah. The walk itself kept going east for months after that, all the way to Terre Haute, Indiana, but the road didn’t always leave time to write.
